We had an absolutely perfect day with our tour guide - Rogin Luo - who took us for a hike along The Great Wall! Didn't know what to expect and were thrilled to have him as our guide. Very imformative, knowledgable and fun! We go to experience a part of The Great Wall that was unrestored and see all its natural beauty. Got a long history lesson along the way!

After the hike, we all went to lunch at a small place at the bottom of the hill. Located in a house, we ate lunch in the proprietors bedroom! What a hoot! Rogin is the Best of the Best! This tour company delivered for us and we are extremely grateful.

Location: Yichun (宜春) is located in the west region of Jiangxi Province, bordering captital Nanchang, Fuzhou in the in the east, Jiujiang in the north, Jian in the south, adjacent to Hunan Province in the west.

History: Yichun is located in the northwestern region of Jiangxi Province, which includes a histories of over 2200 years. Abundant in tourism resources, Yichun also includes a well-established history and profound cultural implication, with unique feature. While the picturesque landscape endows the city with a sense of green, the red spirit of Qiushou Upring will eternally shine upon this great land. However, what brands Yichun as a classic city for tourism lies in the romantic culture of moon, the long-standing culture of Chan sect as well as the unique culture of spring, all of which are elaborated and rejoiced among local people day by day.

Climate: The climate Yichun is feathered by subtropical humid weather with monsoon influence. The weather is characterized by a distinctive 4 seasons, with ample precipitation and sunshine as well as a moderate temperature. Attraction: Mount Mingyue, a national key scenery spot, is located in Yuanzhou District, 20 kilometers away from Yichun District. Mount Mingyue is characterized by 4 features, specifically, remarkable peaks and magnificent gully, comfortable spring and flowing fall, previous animal and wild plant as well as Chan sect. the mountain is regarded as mountainous scenery spot which combines eco-tourism, recreation, education as well as religious pilgrimage as a whole.

Mount Mingyue consists of a dozen mountains which over 1000 kilometers high above sea level, namely Mount Taiping, Mount Yujing, Mount Lao and so forth. The name of Mount “Mingyue”, literally “the bright moon” in Chinese, is derived from the moon-shaped Mount Taiping, the major peak of the mountain, which stands 1735.6 meters high above sea level.

Event: Mount Mingyue Cultural Festival(明月山月亮文化节)- Initially established in 2007 by the local government, the Cultural Festival is held annually along the region of Mount Mingyue from 20th to 26th in September, during which period, ceremonies concerned the theme of moon will be celebrated.
