History: The famous Battle of Muye in Shang Dynasty took place in Xinxiang. Once it was the capital of the short-lived Pingyun Province. In 5th May, 1949, Xinxiang was liberated.

Attractions: Bigan Temple- Bigan, a prominent historical figure of the Shang Dynasty, the uncle of the last king of Shang Dynasty. The emperor Tang Taizong once highly praised him as “a loyal and undaunted man”. The Bigan Temple (比干庙) has a history of more than 3,000 years, covering an area of 44,000 square meters. The ticket price is RMB 40.
Baiquan Scenic Spot-Baiquan Scenic Spot (百泉山景区) is categorized as the National Cultural Heritage Conservation Board, well-known for its beautiful mountains and clear waters, besides. It is mainly divided into two parts: Sumen Mountain and Baiquan Lake. The Ticket Price is RMB20.
