We had an absolutely perfect day with our tour guide - Rogin Luo - who took us for a hike along The Great Wall! Didn't know what to expect and were thrilled to have him as our guide. Very imformative, knowledgable and fun! We go to experience a part of The Great Wall that was unrestored and see all its natural beauty. Got a long history lesson along the way!

After the hike, we all went to lunch at a small place at the bottom of the hill. Located in a house, we ate lunch in the proprietors bedroom! What a hoot! Rogin is the Best of the Best! This tour company delivered for us and we are extremely grateful.

Grand Bazaar,Xinjiang

Bazzar (巴扎) is Uighur-spoken, meaning market, which can be seen towns and countries. Bazzar is hold on Friday or Sunday every week. On this day, a number of stalls spread out goods for sale in booth. Snacks, eggs, animals, fruits, handicrafts, etc. flood every corner.

Xinjiang International Grand Bazzar, set up on 26th, June, 2003, is a showroom of local tourism products of Xinjiang mixing with Islamic culture, architecture, commerce, entertainment and dining. It is named the “window of Xinjiang, Central Asia and the World” and was selected as one of top ten architectures in Xinjiang.

Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar is a building with Islamic style, epitomizing the character and culture of Western region. Occupying an area of 39,000 square meters, Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar is a symbol of Xinjiang business and tourism. The architecture group consists of a 6,100 -square meter banquet hall, a 8,000-square meter food court, a 3,000-square meter happy plaza, a 600-square meter performance square, a 80-meter high observation tower, a mosque and an open stage.

The first floor of the observation tower is an observation deck, while the second floor is Pelek Bar. The wall of the bar is attached pictures to introduce Xinjiang folk and custom. Tourism craft boutique specializes in tourist souvenir of Grand Bazaar Brand. Local food such as roasted whole lamb, roasted meat, the hand pilaf, bone soup and so on.
