We had an absolutely perfect day with our tour guide - Rogin Luo - who took us for a hike along The Great Wall! Didn't know what to expect and were thrilled to have him as our guide. Very imformative, knowledgable and fun! We go to experience a part of The Great Wall that was unrestored and see all its natural beauty. Got a long history lesson along the way!

After the hike, we all went to lunch at a small place at the bottom of the hill. Located in a house, we ate lunch in the proprietors bedroom! What a hoot! Rogin is the Best of the Best! This tour company delivered for us and we are extremely grateful.

Humble Administrator’s Garden(拙政园), one of the four classic gardens in Suzhou, is the representation of gardens in southern China. Humble Administrator’s Garden, along with other classic gardens of Suzhou were listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.

As famous as the Humble Administrator’s Garden, Lingering Garden(留园) has a history of over 400 years. Lingering Garden is the best preserved among all the Suzhou gardens. The garden was first built in 1583 of by Xu Taishi, an official of the Ming court, as his private living place.

Tongli (同里古镇)is another ancient town situated 18km away from Suzhou, and 80 km from Shanghai. It was built in the Ming and Qing Dynasty, about 1,000 years ago. Surrounded by several lakes, this 0.67-square-kilometer town is divided into 7 parts by the 15 river courses at its midst.
