We had an absolutely perfect day with our tour guide - Rogin Luo - who took us for a hike along The Great Wall! Didn't know what to expect and were thrilled to have him as our guide. Very imformative, knowledgable and fun! We go to experience a part of The Great Wall that was unrestored and see all its natural beauty. Got a long history lesson along the way!

After the hike, we all went to lunch at a small place at the bottom of the hill. Located in a house, we ate lunch in the proprietors bedroom! What a hoot! Rogin is the Best of the Best! This tour company delivered for us and we are extremely grateful.

Jiangnan Sizhu is one genre of Han Chinese traditional instrumental music, popular in the southern part of Jiangsu and Zhejiang. After the Revolution of 1911, Jiangnan Sizhu has been considerable developed in Shanghai. The cast of orchestra of Jiangnan Sizhu is generally 7 to 8 people, or 3 to 5 people. Jiangnan Sizhu is one of the national intangible cultural heritage.

Qingpu Field Folk song is a Han Chinese folk song spread in Qingpu District, Shanghai where working people would sing when weeding. The procedures of the song is by one person singing, then everybody take turns singing folk songs in the fields. It is also known as crying out folk shout and the bulk of folk songs.

It was originated in the mid-Qing Dynasty, popular in the area of the original Baoshan County.

Sijing collected fine drum forms Han folk music with distinctive features through long term performance on the basis of music and opera of Kunshan by Shanghai Sijing artists. Up tull now, it has a history of more than 300 years.

Chongming School Pipa
Chongming is located in the northeast corner of Shanghai, as "Yingzhou Ancient Tune" pipa spectrum modeled teach. Because originated Chong Ming Island, later said to Chongming school pipa.
