We had an absolutely perfect day with our tour guide - Rogin Luo - who took us for a hike along The Great Wall! Didn't know what to expect and were thrilled to have him as our guide. Very imformative, knowledgable and fun! We go to experience a part of The Great Wall that was unrestored and see all its natural beauty. Got a long history lesson along the way!

After the hike, we all went to lunch at a small place at the bottom of the hill. Located in a house, we ate lunch in the proprietors bedroom! What a hoot! Rogin is the Best of the Best! This tour company delivered for us and we are extremely grateful.

Great Wall is a gigantic military project which was built in ancient China to defense the invasion from northern nomadic tribe in different stages. The existing great wall relics were mainly constructed in Ming Dynasty with a total length of 8851.8 kilometers. Ming Great Wall start with Jiayuguan in the west and end with Hushan Great Wall in the east across 15 provinces including Beijing, Tianjin, Qinghai, Shandong, Inner Mongolia and so on.

The Terracotta Warriors and Horses
The terracotta warriors and horses were discovered in funerary pits of tomb of Qin Shihuang, the first emperor of Qin (259-210B.C.). The mausoleum of Qin Shihuang is situated in Llintong District, about 35km east to Xian city, Shaanxi province. It has been found that 8,000 pieces of pottery figurines and horses as large as material projects.
