Itinerary:
Day 01：Arrival in Beijing ( D )
Met by our English speaking tour guide at Beijing airport and transferred to your hotel in Beijing. In the afternoon, visit Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming Dynasty ( 1368-1644) and Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. Free for the rest of the day.
Day 02：Beijing ( B L D )
Starting the day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the world largest square of this kind. Then move on to the imperial palace, also known as the "Forbidden City" that symbolizes the imperial and traditional China. After lunch, continue to visit Summer Palace, the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. It is regarded as a museum of gardens in China. Peking Duck dinner and Peking Opera Show in the evening. Back to hotel.
Day 03：Beijing ( B L )
Today's highlight is to visit the Badaling Great Wall, the most famous and best preserved wall. It lies 100km away at the northwest of Beijing, symbol of Chinese civilization. After lunch, continue a visit to Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors were buried in Ming Dynasty (13680-1644). After the tour, transferred back to your midtown hotel in Beijing.
Day 04：Beijing - Nanjing by air ( B L D )
After breakfast, transfer to airport for morning flight to Nanjing - capital city of Jiangsu Province. Met by our English speaking tour guide at the airport and transferred to your hotel in Nanjing. Afternoon tour of the Yangtze River Bridge, an important presentation of Chinese self-reliance until the late 1970s. Then visit Zhonghua Gate which is the south gate of old Nanjing City. Zhonghua Gate is regarded as the biggest castle-style city gate in China as well as in the world. Then move on to the Qin Huai River. This riverside area used to the restaurants, dance halls and whorehouses where nobles, talents and businessmen flocked here for busy nightlife.
Day 05：Nanjing - Suzhou by train D5433(14:48-16:44) ( B L )
Morning tour of the Dr. Sun Yatsen's Mausoleum and the Nanjing Museum. Dr. Sun Yat-sen (1866-1925) was a great forerunner of the Chinese democratic revolution. Nanjing Museum is a comprehensive museum of municipal level. After lunch, transfer to the railway station and take the high speed train D5433(14:48-16:44) to Suzhou. Met and transferred to your hotel in Suzhou.
Day 06：Suzhou ( B L D )
First visit Net Master Garden,the best and most celebrated as a model Ming Dynasty Garden in all of Suzhou. Then you will be arranged to stop at the Ancient City Gate and Grand Canal for photo taking and exterior viewing ( the admission fees for the two attractions are not included). The Panmen City Gate is the oldest city gate in existence in Suzhou city. Then have a short tour of a silk spinning factory to see how Chinese silk has been produced since the 14th century.
After lunch, Then move on to Hanshan Temple - the temple used to be one of the 10 most famous temples in China. Continue to visit Tiger Hill - one of Suzhou's famous site and symbol of Suzhou City. Return to your hotel in Suzhou.
Day 07：Suzhou - Hangzhou by road ( B L )
After breakfast, drive from Suzhou to Wuzhen by road and stroll in the little ancient water town Wuzhen. Take some nice photos of the old houses lined up two sides of the river, visit various workshops of wines, batik, embroidery, etc. After lunch at Wuzhen, drive from Wuzhen to Hangzhou, and check in the hotel in Hangzhou.
Day 08：Hangzhou ( B L D )
Pick up from your midtown hotel in Hangzhou and head to a wharf at West Lake for the boating on the west lake. Finish your cruise at the Huagang Park Wharf. Move on to Huagang Park ( Fish Viewing at the Flower Pond Park ). Continue to visit Leifeng Pagoda. Ascending the top of the pagoda and looking down, one has a panoramic view of West Lake and the whole city of Hangzhou. After local Chinese lunch, you are taken to Longjing Tea Plantation to experience the traditional method of making Longjing (Dragon Well) Tea as well drinking, picking, smelling or buying. Continue to vist Lingyin Temple. Lingyin Temple is a Buddhist temple of the Chan sect nestled in the Flying Peak north-west of Hangzhou. After the whole day tour, you will be transferred back to your midtown hotel in Hangzhou.
Day 09：Hangzhou - Shanghai by road ( B L D )
After breakfast, drive from Hangzhou to Shanghai. Check-in at your hotel in Shanghai. After lunch, visit Yuyuan Garden, a classical Qing Dynasty garden with over 30 pavilions linked by a maze of corridors and bridges over ponds. Then move next to the Old City God's Temple Bazaar from the Song Dyansty. In the evening dinner will be served. After dinner, you will be arranged to watch the fantastic Acrobatics show. ( B L D )
Day 10：Shanghai ( B L )
First visit Shanghai Museum, the selection of over 112,000 Chinese cultural relics from the Old Stone Age to modern times. Then proceed to visit the "Pedestrians only" Nanjing Road, a walking bustling street that is always packed with people waching other people. Then move on to the Bund, one of the most noted waterfront and architectural symbols of Shanghai. After lunch, go to Shanghai's new zone - Pudong ( east of Huangpu River) and ascend Jinmao Tower to have an eye-bird's view of Shanghai city. Finally take one hour cruising on Huang Pu River. Back to your hotel.
Day 11：Exit from Shanghai ( B )
Transfer to airport for departure or free on your own.
