What to Wear and Pack in October in Shanghai

For the average above-20℃ temperature during the day in October, you are dressed lightly – T-shirts, or long-sleeved shirts and thin pants or jeans.

National Day (October 01 – 07)
It is the most essential holiday for celebrating the anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949.

People are entitled to a 7-day holiday by moving the prior weekend and the upcoming one together with these 3 official paid-day off. Try to avoid visiting Shanghai during the week-long holiday.
