Yes, I’m finding it really challenging and frustrating to get any information on wheelchair accessible transportation in Chongqing. I’m getting the idea that there are no taxis, the hotel and even the China based travel agency can’t point me to any. Are there any other transportation services besides taxis that can load a wheelchair? How do wheelchair users get around in Chongqing?

Thanks for your inquiry! It is a bit tough question for me regarding How wheelchair users get around in Chongqing. Basically, unlike Canada and the US, you have accessible buses or other transportation tools for wheelchair users, we have little or less developed public transport system for wheelchair users. As far as I know, most of them have to reduce their outdoor time. This is only my personal view.
