    1) I can book air tickets & hotel. Will i be comfortable touring Beijing ourselves since we don’t understand Mandarin.

    You can either visit Beijing on a self-guided tour or use a local travel agency to guide your tour. It all depends. Most of the streets and attractions in Beijing have English signs.

    April, May, September and October are the best months for visiting Beijing.
