2012 Year of Dragon from tour-Beijing.com

Friday, January 20th, 2012

In two days we’ll say goodbye to the rabbit year of 2011 and enter the dragon year of 2012 which starts from Jan 23, 2012. Before turning to the new page to write our new history, we at tour-beijing.com (Beijing Xinhua Tours) look back at the passing year of 2011 with a light heart.

The year 2011 fell into a dormant period for China inbound travel market. China’s inbound travel for the first time stopped to grow since the year 2003 of SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) outbreak which had greatly affected tourism industry. The sluggish inoming travel market has been caused by several factors: 1) Turbulences in Middle East 2) Europe”s debt crisis 3) America”s slow economic recovery, which have resulted in the declining market for China incoming travel in the passing year.

No matter a market is good or not, some companies will make better or worse business and management performances. Some enterprises still go to bankruptcy even a market is generally very good; some will survive and develop very well even if a market is not good. So what is important is not only the market itself, but how to do it, the mode of business matters! You cannot change the global market as a whole, but you can still do something to make the market a better place to develop your companies.

In 2011 Tour-beijing.com made great efforts to build a micro climate to cultivate the internet market by adding more useful information and put online more value added tour packages. We did received very positive response from our valuable clients. Our travel business has acheived over 10% increase over the year 2010.

The prediction for the coming year of 2012 is not promising with these three major factors beiing still there slowing the recovery of global travel industry. We will not stop our marching steps sticking to the motto “Creativity is the engine of each market”. We’ll make more helpful China travel information and create more marketable tour packages that could give more valuable experiences for our clients.

At the door of ushering the new year of 2012, Beijing Xinhua Intermatonal Tours sincerely hope our old and new clients will be in good shape and make progrees on your owm work.

Let’s grow together!

When is the best time to visit China?

A girl in a village around Beijing

Are you planning your China Tour? Located in South East Asia, China is one of the world’s most-watched and hottest incoming tourist destinations. Normally, April, May, September and October are the peak tourist months at China’s most popular places when the weather is the most comfortable. But deciding when to visit China depends on which places you wish to visit, what type of weather you enjoy, and how much budget you can afford.

China has a continental and seasonal climate. Southern areas are in the tropical or subtropical zone while northern areas are in the frigid zone. Climates in different areas are complicated. Every season here has its charms and pitfalls! Use this travel guide to help you make a smart decision about when to visit China. Check out below to have some information on each season:

China in Spring
Spring in China is a season of recovery, commonly warm with a little rain. Spring can also be delightful with the average temperatures roughly the same as in autumn, at about 10°C – 22°C.

China in Summer
Summer in China can be extremely hot with temperatures well above 22°C. You can go to summer resorts in some northern cities of China. Summer is also the rainy season, so travelers should not forget umbrellas, light raincoats and rubber shoes.

China in Autumn
Autumn is a season which is suitable to visit any city of China. Normally, the most comfortable season of the year in China is early autumn (September to early October). During that period, temperatures are reasonable throughout China at about 10°C – 22°C with a limited amount of rain. Autumn is a harvest season. The sky is bright and clear. Your eyes are filled with the most beautiful view of the natural world.

China in Winter
Winter can be incredibly cold especially in the north but off-season travel can also offer its rewards. For example, the Harbin Winter Ice Lantern Festival is a charming event. The southern China in winter is not that cold.

Tips: Whenever you decide to travel to China try to avoid 1-3 May (Labor holidays) or 1-7 October (Liberation Day) when hard-working Chinese get a one week holiday. It is extremely crowded everywhere, especially in some hot destinations in China.
