Tour Description
Pick up from your hotel in the city proper of Beijing around 8:30am. Then drive to Beijing Purple Bamboo Park. Entering the south gate to the park and walk through the park till you get to the wharf near its north gate.
The one hour walking in the park brings you closer to the locals and you will have a deep and better understanding of Beijing city life. The boat leaves the wharf at 10:30am. Then you start your 40 minutes' boat ride along the 6-km Changhe River. The boat arrives at Beijing . You will be arranged to visit the largest and best-preserved imperial garden in China - Summer Palace.
Then drive to the Central Chinese Television CCTV Tower in the western section of Beijing. The CCTV tower not surprisingly is the home of many TV and Radio station broadcasts, including CCTV 1, CCTV 4 and CCTV 9.
Then have lunch at the rotating dinning hall, which is the highest of its kind in Beijing. It offers luxury mixed buffet of Chinese, Western and Japanese. After lunch, visit the tower. The highest point of the CCTV tower is 405 meters including the lightning rod and it is the fifth highest tower in the world. Standing on the platform - Open Air-Observatory at 238 meters high, you can enjoy the whole view of Beijing.
Descending from the tower, then visit Beijing Pacific Underwater World which is located beneath the TV tower and has comprehensive displays of sea life. There is also a children's playground and a go-karting track.
