Tour Description
This day tour is designed for nature lovers who like to have outdoor tours. Pick you up at your hotel at 8:00am, then drive to the Longqing Gorge ( about 2-hour drive ). It is located about 80 kilometers to the north of Beijing. The Longqing Gorge is flanked on both sides by green peaks. The Gucheng Reservior built in 1n 1981, lies north of the gorge.
People often say Longqing Gorge is a small Li River in Guilin, but it is more beautiful than Li River; it is a small three gorges on the Yangtze river, but it is more dangerous than the Three Gorges. Boating on the Longqing Ravine, you will feel the gentle breeze blowing against your face as if you are on the Lijiang River, you are entirely immersed in a picturesque view.
Only the entrance fee and a short cruise are included. All the other activities inside the Longqing Gorge are not included in the day package. Lunch included.
Lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant which serves local Chinese food.
After Chinese lunch, go further to the site of the mysterious Guyaju Caves, about 26km to the west of Longqing Gorge. Guyaju cave dwellings are in the cliffs of Yanqing County, Beijing. With over 1000 years of history, the mythical caves still confuses historians. Records show it was constructed between the Tang and Liao Dynasties by the Xi tribe.
The caves have "rooms" of a variety of shapes and styles that comprise doors, windows, kitchen ranges, and closets. Hiking around Gu Ya Ju and its surrounding mountains. After the tour, transferred back to your hotel in downtown Beijing.
On the evening before your departure early next morning, you will get a call to your hotel room or a message at your hotel front counter by your tour guide to reconfirm your next morning's pickup time which is normally set around around 8:00 am.
On the morning of your tour departure date, our tour guide will go to your hotel ahead of your pick-up time in the lobby, holding a sign with your name. When you come down to the hotel lobby, just look around for the sign to meet our tour guide.
You will have the narratives of local history and culture by your tour guide while you are comfortably sitting in the air-conditioned vehicle of your exclusive use and enjoying the views passing by.
Rush hours in Beijing can cause serious traffic jam. We try our best to manage the traffic and keep your schedule.
